Ms. Martin's A4 class presents a review guide just for you, which covers The European Reformation.
Historical Overview
Many people during the eighteenth century wanted change in the Catholic Church so thus, the Reformation was created. A lot of citizens were fed up with the lack of care the Church was showing. The Reformation was within Western Christianity and initiated by Desiderius Erasmus and later followed by Martin Luther. The initiation they took led John Calvin, Zwingli, and other Protestants to join the Reformation. The main objective of the reformers was to question doctrines, rituals, and fix the structure of the Roman Catholic Church.
